CNC 3D HIGH SPEED
HARD MILLING
This process utilizes a very High End Milling
machine tool in conjunction with exotic tooling
with cutting edge geometry. Himes Machine uses
Mastercam X to complete this process by creating
tool paths from solid model files supplied by
the customer and takes the 3D shape right to the
finished part. This process of Hard Milling can
be successfully achieved in Hardened Tool steels
heat treated to 62 Rockwell c scale as will as
many other types of materials. |
