EDM HOLE DRILLING
EDM Hole Drilling is most commonly used
at Himes Machine to obtain very small holes when
conventional drilling methods are not possible.
EDM Hole Drilling is very successful when a
small, deep straight hole is needed. Also, EDM
Hole Drilling can produce holes in heat treated
tool steels, carbide, stainless steels, and
virtually any material that is electrically
conductive. This EDM process can enable our
staff to achieve hole diameters as small as
.0065" diameter. |
